| Bio: | I'm not really sure what this journal will focus on or even if I'll write in it. I guess I'll know as soon as I start, lol.
Anyway, I manage a bookstore. It's a job I love. I have a great staff - everyone loves to read, which believe me is a hard thing to come by. We have a loyal base of customers who always come to us for suggestions and just to "talk books". It's great.
Books are a huge part of my life. I'm literally surrounded by them almost all day long - if not at work, then at home, and when not at home, my friends are also avid book hoarders. I usually read romance, but lately I've been branching into Women's fiction and Young Adult.
I have a degree in English Communications (hence the job managing a bookstore, lol) and I love writing, but haven't really done any creative writing in a long time. Lately, however I've been writing fan fiction for The Outsiders section on ff.net. Shocked the hell out of, let me tell you - but it was just an urge that I couldn't shake. I'm having a great time with it. It's a major stress reducer and it's great to set aside time just to be creative. Who knows, maybe I'll finally get around to writing that book everyone bugs me about.
